Set Secure Screen Notification Message Queue

How to Get There

To display the Set Secure Screen Notification Message Queue panel, select option 3 from the SecureScreen panel.

What it Does

The Set Secure Screen notify *msgq (LSETPSSNFQ) command sets the notification message queue for SecureScreen to the message queue you specify on the MSGQ() parameter.

Field Descriptions

Message queue name (MSGQ)

Specifies the qualified message queue name to which SecureScreen notification messages are sent. This message queue cannot be the same name as the message queue specified for the QINACTMSGQ system value.

Enter the name of the message queue to use. Possible values are:

Name: Specify the name of an existing message queue.
*NONE: No notification messages are sent.
*USER: Send notifications to the message queue specified on the user profile of the user who started the SecureScreen monitor job.
*JOBUSR: Uses the message queue specified on the user profile of the user executing this command.
Library

Enter a library name. Possible values are:

library-name: Specify the name of the library in which the message queue exists.
*LIBL: The library list will be searched to locate the message queue.

Command Keys

F3 (Exit): Exit the screen without processing any pending changes.
