  • Added the ability for the PDF (Insert) activity to perform an insert at the last page of a PDF document.

  • The Web Browser (Set value) activity now provides the option to disguise the value entered in the "Change to" parameter.
  • Added the ability to return the process ID of a running task/subtask (PID) by way of the new GetTaskInstancePID() Extended Function.
  • Audit Events in the Server Management Console now report if a user was added to or removed from a user group.

Fixes
  • The Input (Send keystrokes) activity no longer sends parentheses unless they are contained within open and close parentheses (for example, "((test))").
  • The Database (SQL query) activity now records and shows milliseconds in a dataset correctly.
  • Tasks containing the number sign character (#) in the name will now run correctly.
  • The StrDup(Amount, Text) Extended Function no longer gives the "Variable or function does not exist" error message.
  • The Compression (Compress) activity now correctly identifies multiple files or wildcard masks within in a subfolder when using the pipe character (|).
  • The Web Browser (Click) activity now properly detects invisible interactive web elements.
  • The PDF (Set field(s)) activity now detects a variable when it is set as a session name.
  • The PDF (Set field(s)) activity no longer saves the variable name instead of the actual variable value when using the "Save as" option.
  • The Image (Resize) activity no longer rotates images when resizing them.
  • The Compression (Decompress) activity will now report an error if the destination path exceeds the path character limit.
  • The Task Administrator will now correctly load a task if the path contains double-byte characters.
  • On Error emails will no longer report an error if spaces appear between multiple email addresses separated with semicolons.
  • The Web Browser (Get) activity will now correctly find HTML elements with multiple frames that are not in fixed order at design time and runtime.
  • The HTTP (Get) activity no longer reports an error when the GET method is successful.
  • The Loop (Dataset) activity no longer reports an "out of range" error after deleting a row in a dataset.
  • The Web Browser (Set value) activity now sets the apostrophe character (') correctly.
  • The Web Browser (Legacy) action no longer alters passwords or hidden value characters after importing a task from Automate version 9.
  • The Email action now correctly auto-discovers an email server after selecting a credential variable by way of the Credential key icon.
  • The Email (Get message) activity no longer returns "?" for accented characters.
  • Constants created in the Task Administrator now appear in the Expression Builder of the Task Builder.
  • The Automate Desktop and Automate Plus/Ultimate installer files no longer request .NET Framework 4.8 to be installed on a system where .NET Framework 4.8 is already installed.
  • Attempting to import a task while an Event Monitor User is specified no longer reports an error.
  • The File System (Split file) activity now allows an Automate variable to be added if the "Individual file piece size" parameter is set to "Other."
  • The FTP action now establishes an SFTP connection when the "All" option is selected.
  • Migrating a database from an earlier version of Automate BPA/Enterprise to version 11.5.0 is now more stable and faster than before.
  • Automate Desktop and Automate Plus/Ultimate no longer changes the original format of an HTTP response.
  • The Task Agent and Java Agent server ports are now independently loaded so that if a problem occurs with one port, the other port is not affected.

Fixes

  • Setting sleep to 0 in Malleable C2 caused beacons to fail. Add C2 Lint range for sleep values.
  • Fix data_jitter issue not using any jitter when it was longer than limit (921600). Added minimum data_jitter (10) and performance warning for over 10000. Show data_jitter marker in C2 Lint preview data rather than actual jitter data.

    • A new F7 = Change session choice selection was added on the Display ASP Session (DSPASPSSN), Display CSM Session (DSPCSMSSN), and Display SVC Session (DSPSVCSSN) panels.

    • A new change session choice selection panel is available when performing option 22 on the Work with ASP Copy Descriptions (WRKASPCPYD) display.

  • Several enhancements to SVC FlashCopy including:

    • The ability to add volumes to copy descriptions when there is an active FlashCopy session, including in incremental FlashCopy environments.

    • PowerHA now delays the creation of FlashCopy reverse consistency groups and mappings until a reverse operation is requested, reducing the time required to start a FlashCopy and eliminating the risk of accidentally starting a reverse FlashCopy from the storage device.

  • Improved control over node selection during switchovers in multi-node device CRG environments with the following improvements:

    • A new 'switch type' parameter added to the Change CRG Primary (CHGCRGPRI) command.

    • When performing change primary from the work with cluster screens, a new selection panel to select the new primary node is displayed.

  • When performing change primary from the work with cluster screens, a confirmation panel is now displayed indicating the current and new primary node.

  • The CHGCRGPRI command includes an improved message when the CRG is not in the correct state to perform a switchover.

  • The Start Cluster Resource Group (STRCRG) and End Cluster Resource Group (ENDCRG) commands now return success if the CRG is already in the desired state, simplifying scripts that call these commands.

  • The Start Cluster Administrative Domain (STRCAD) and End Cluster Administrative Domain (ENDCAD) commands now return success if the administrative domain is already in the desired state, simplifying scripts that call these commands.

  • The Change ASP Session (CHGASPSSN) and Change SVC Session (CHGSVCSSN) commands contain several performance improvements.

Fixes
  • SE75118: In a Spectrum Virtualize (SVC) HyperSwap with LUN Level Switching environment, in certain configurations, a switchover or failover operation may fail with message HAE2057 with storage message CMMVC5842E. This has been resolved.

  • In some instances, message text information was unavailable for some messages in PowerHA when retrieving PowerHA session information. This has been corrected so that the message text is available.

  • With SVC Metro Mirror or SVC Global Mirror when the source storage system was down the *DETACH operation failed. The *DETACH operation now only requires the target storage to be operational to perform the operation.

  • Improvements to the Configure Geographic Mirroring (CFGGEOMIR) command to work regardless of recovery domain order in a Geographic Mirroring with LUN-Level Switching environment

  • The error message from CHGASPSSN with an incorrect session name now properly indicates that the session was not found.

  • Previously when encrypted cluster wide data could not be read, any PowerHA operation attempting to use encrypted data resulted in an MCH0601. A correct error message is now displayed when data cannot be decrypted.

  • The correct PowerHA potential fix level is displayed on DSPCLUINF when there is no cluster. Previously, PowerHA would sometimes show the incorrect potential fix level when there was no cluster.
  • The order of the administrative domain (ADMDMN) and source node (SRCNODE) parameters has been changed to be consistent with prior releases.not make any changes to the VIS data using Certify or Role Designer while the import is taking place because this can affect the data imported or any changes may be overwritten by the import.
NOTE: PTF update SI75531 requires one or more associated language PTFs. To determine if additional languages you have installed in your environment require a requisite MRI PTF, consult the table of language PTFs in the release cover letter at IBM Support.

    • PowerHA now delays the creation of FlashCopy reverse consistency groups and mappings until a reverse operation is requested, reducing the time required to start a FlashCopy and eliminating the risk of accidentally starting a reverse FlashCopy from the storage device.

  • Improved control over node selection during switchovers in multi-node device CRG environments with the following improvements:

    • A new 'switch type' parameter added to the Change CRG Primary (CHGCRGPRI) command.

    • When performing change primary from the work with cluster screens, a new selection panel to select the new primary node is displayed.

  • When performing change primary from the work with cluster screens, a confirmation panel is now displayed indicating the current and new primary node.

  • The CHGCRGPRI command includes an improved message when the CRG is not in the correct state to perform a switchover.

  • The Start Cluster Resource Group (STRCRG) and End Cluster Resource Group (ENDCRG) commands now return success if the CRG is already in the desired state, simplifying scripts that call these commands.

  • The Start Cluster Administrative Domain (STRCAD) and End Cluster Administrative Domain (ENDCAD) commands now return success if the administrative domain is already in the desired state, simplifying scripts that call these commands.

  • The Change ASP Session (CHGASPSSN) and Change SVC Session (CHGSVCSSN) commands contain several performance improvements.

Fixes
  • SE75118: In a Spectrum Virtualize (SVC) HyperSwap with LUN Level Switching environment, in certain configurations, a switchover or failover operation may fail with message HAE2057 with storage message CMMVC5842E. This has been resolved.

  • In some instances, message text information was unavailable for some messages in PowerHA when retrieving PowerHA session information. This has been corrected so that the message text is available.

  • With SVC Metro Mirror or SVC Global Mirror when the source storage system was down the *DETACH operation failed. The *DETACH operation now only requires the target storage to be operational to perform the operation.

  • Improvements to the Configure Geographic Mirroring (CFGGEOMIR) command to work regardless of recovery domain order in a Geographic Mirroring with LUN-Level Switching environment

  • The error message from CHGASPSSN with an incorrect session name now properly indicates that the session was not found.

  • Previously when encrypted cluster wide data could not be read, any PowerHA operation attempting to use encrypted data resulted in an MCH0601. A correct error message is now displayed when data cannot be decrypted.

  • The administrative domain name field was blank on the Work with Cluster Administrative Domain Monitored Resource Entries (WRCADMRE) display. This has been corrected.

  • Multi-factor authentication, previously available for all user profiles except QSECOFR, can now also be used to secure QSECOFR.
  • QSECOFR activation risk activity is now included on PRTSIDATV reports.
  • When selecting to activate SecurID against the QSECOFR user profile, a warning screen is now displayed. The screen outlines the main risks that are associated with adding an initial program to QSECOFR. The administrator is required to accept or decline the associated risks. Additional Message Id's have been included for Message Action Item configuration to allow alerts to be sent relating to the administrator's action at the warning screen:
    • MLT0503 User &5 declined SecurID activation for &6 within job &4/&3/&2
    • MLT0504 User &5 accepted the risks of SecurID activation for &6 within job &4/&3/&2
Fixes
  • An issue that prevented the VFYSIDJRCL command from reporting missing journal receivers (when breaks existed within the receiver chain) for journal receivers associated with journals @ACE/ACEFILES and @ACE/ACEACTJRN has been resolved.
  • Default Message Id's deleted from the active list on the Work with Message Action Item screen can now be restored.
  • An issue that caused the menu option description to be truncated in the message queue, in some cases, for Message Action Item MLT1102, has been resolved.
  • Extra spaces have been removed from the text for Message Id HDR2015.
