  • Added rme-CopyWinAndMacCiphers

A new Agent configuration element—rme-CopyWinAndMacCiphers—controls which ciphers are copied to removable drives. During RME operation when a file is encrypted onto a removable drive, you can specify which file ciphers are copied to the removable drive.

Previously, only the Linux cipher was copied. With this enhancement, Windows, macOS and Linux cipherswill be copied to removable drives by default. This ensures that even if you did the encryption on Linux, you will be able to decrypt the file on macOS, Linux or Windows platforms

For more information, refer to Agent for Linux User’s Guide.

  • Added New Input Option --status for dgctl

Introduced a new input option—--status—to the dgctl utility. With this addition, you can accurately determine whether the Agent is running.

To utilize this new option, execute the following command at the terminal:

./dgctl --status

This functions similarly to other dgctl commands such as --et or --version.

The output verifies and displays the current status of the Agent dgdaemon process.

Fixes

No issues are resolved in this release.
