Digital Guardian

Agent for Linux

Version: 12.2.1

May 2026

New Features
  • RPM Installer Support for Linux Agent

    • Digital Guardian Linux Agent now supports creating RPM installers for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The Linux installer now generates RPM packages for Workstation and Server agents, supporting install, upgrade, and removal via dnf, yum, or rpm commands. During installation, the embedded DG installer runs automatically with logs written to /var/tmp/dgagent/install.log. Uninstallation is secured through /dgagent/dgctl with uninstall-key validation.

  • Certification for Additional Kernels

This table lists the additional certified Linux kernels for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu in this release. Refer to the Agent for Linux User's Guide for details about the packages required to support the new kernel versions for the Agent. Refer to Agent_for_Linux_v12.x.x_and_Later_RHEL_Certified_Environments and Agent_for_Linux_v12.x.x_and_Later_Ubuntu_Certified_Environments for the complete lists of supported RHEL and Ubuntu kernels.

Secure Collaboration (Vera)

Version 3.25.3

May 2026

Enhancements
  • Infinispan Upgrade Support v13 to v16 - Vera SaaS

    • This release introduces support for upgrading Vera on-premises connector clusters from Infinispan v13 (used in versions 3.24.*, 3.25.0, and 3.25.1) to Infinispan v16 (used in version 3.25.2 and later).

  • Vera Add-In for the Microsoft New Outlook - Windows Client

    • Secure Collaboration (Vera) now supports the Vera Add-In for the Microsoft New Outlook on Windows, using a JavaScript-based add-in.

  • Advanced Access Control: Copy/Paste and Print Policy Support - Mac Client

    • Secure Collaboration (Vera) now supports copy/paste and print policy controls for files protected by Advanced Access Control on macOS.

Fixes
  • Vera SaaS

    • Fixed an issue where the Vera OVA connector on Rocky Linux could fail to start or complete installation when a proxy was configured. This occurred because some outbound requests (such as package downloads) did not honor the proxy settings. The OVA setup flow has been updated to prompt for proxy configuration earlier in the process, ensuring all external calls correctly use the configured proxy.

Additional upgrade note:

NOTE: For on-premises connectors deployed using earlier OVA versions, a post-deployment script must be run prior to upgrade. Previous OVA versions included hard-coded Vera version prefixes (for example, 3.24), which can interfere with upgrades to newer versions (such as 3.25.0 and later). Running this script updates those values to ensure a successful upgrade.
