New Enhancements

  • With the release of DG Microsoft new Outlook Add-in version 6.0, the add-in introduces support for SendMail Event using ItemSend approach. This enhancement enables prompts (which were not recommended when using SmartAlerts) to be shown, offering a more consistent and reliable user experience. ItemSend improves the accuracy of tracking email send actions and ensures that prompts display effectively before the email is sent.

    NOTE: This version of the DG Microsoft new Outlook Add-in version 6.0 will be released alongside Digital Guardian Agent version 10.0.0

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the new Microsoft Outlook Add-in from loading in legacy Outlook on Windows when the DG legacy Outlook plugin was disabled. This change affects only the Digital Guardian Windows Agent.
