Processing has been corrected for any user-owned exit program, registered in the product against the Database Server (QIBM_QZDA_INIT) exit point. Such a program is now only run following successful authentication, or if the authentication request was made within an authentication suppression window.

Activation and de-activation of authentication against a specific IBM i User Profile no longer requires the issuing profile to have *JOBCTL Special Authority.

For a first-time installation, the timeout value for the communications is set to a value of 2 minutes.

Additional program objects have been added to the PMAADMIN Authorization List.

Ownership of the Command Processing Program for the PMASTRMON and PMAENDMON commands has been changed to a profile with *JOBCTL Special Authority.

Changed the API to provide the authentication result as an output parameter, which can be used by the calling program. If the fourth parameter contains the value 1, the authentication was successful; any other integer value means the authentication failed.

Multiple Exit Point programs are now shipped with the correct *PUBLIC *USE authority.

The return code is now reset within the authentication API at the start of each use.

Enhancements
- Powertech Multi-Factor Authentication now supports TLS (Transport Layer Security) protection for communications to and from the Authentication Manager, and is now registered as a Client Application within the IBM Digital Certificate Manager (DCM).
- Exit programs that were registered against exit points before Powertech Multi-Factor Authentication control for those exit points was activated can now be changed.
- The product has been renamed Powertech Multi-Factor Authentication. The new name is now used in the IBM i Agent module and accompanying documentation. (Previously the product was called "Access Authenticator.")
Fixes
- When configured, requests from the IBM i agent to the Authentication Manager are now sent over HTTPS.
- Authentication request with parameters set to null is no longer sent when CCSID=65535.
