  • There was an issue with the New User Flag Duration feature where users remained marked as "New User" even after the set number of days had passed. As a result, they continued to be available in the New User filter. This issue has been fixed.

  • Whenever a user tries to add an IP address to the exclusion list using the Add button, the IP is not added and returns an error. This issue has been fixed.

Fixes
  • You can now view code when editing a landing page for a multi-scenario simulation. Previously, the Source code button was sometimes missing.

  • You can now change the landing or feedback page if the phishing template has multiple page options. Previously, this was sometimes not possible.

  • Once a scenario has been activated, it will stay active even if you remove a recipient. Previously, the status of an activated scenario sometimes changed back to draft if a recipient was removed from the simulation.

  • When importing recipients from a previous simulation based on user actions, the correct number of users per action will be displayed and the correct recipients will be available for import.

  • If you select the option to include an attachment in a simulation, an error message i displayed if the attachment is not included when you launch the simulation. It is no longer possible to launch the simulation without the attachment.

  • When you copy a simulation, the settings for embedded images and tracking pixels are copied as well. Previously, these settings were reset.

  • When creating a single scenario simulation with the double barrel option enabled, you will be required to select an end date before launching. Previously, it was sometimes possible to launch this type of simulation without an end date.

  • When creating a single scenario simulation, you can reset the email template. Previously, attempting to do so sometimes caused an application error.

  • If you create a continuous multi-scenario simulation, recipients will only receive each scenario once. Previously, the same scenario was sometimes sent to the same recipient more than once.

  • If you create a continuous multi-scenario simulation with the double barrel option enabled, recipients will receive the double barrels for each scenario. Previously, recipients sometimes only received the double barrel for the first scenario in the simulation.

Version: 1.29.1

November, 2021

Enhancements
  • The standard report quiz results by question can now be viewed and downloaded as an Excel file. Previously, if quizzes with multiple-choice answers were modified and new answer options were added after users began taking the quiz, viewing or downloading this report sometimes caused an application error.

Version: 1.29

November, 2021

Enhancements
  • To support serious games, two types of gamified courses are now available: those that allow repetition and point configuration and those (including serious games) that do not. This change affects whether you see gamification settings under the general course settings, as follows:

    • If you create a course that does not include any gamified activities, the Gamification section is not visible.

    • If you create a course with gamified activities that allow repetition and point configuration, the Gamification section is visible. You can choose whether the course is gamified and whether to allow repetition, and make settings for point allocation.

    • If you create a course with gamified activities that do not allow repetition or point configuration, the Gamification section is visible, but you can only choose whether the course is gamified.

    • If you create a course with both gamified and non-gamified activities, the Gamification section is visible. However, a warning displays to indicate that any settings you make here will only apply to activities that allow gamification.

Fixes
  • Passwords for anonymous quizzes will now follow the same criteria as for user passwords. Previously, passwords for anonymous quizzes were limited to 10 characters.

September 2021

Version: 1.27

September, 2021

Fixes
  • An error message will now display if you try to save a new course, quiz, or email template with the same name as an existing one.

  • You can now switch from an environment with single sign-on (SSO) authentication to an environment that does not use SSO and launch a simulation. Previously, you were sometimes not able to launch the simulation because the system requested SSO authentication in the second environment.

  • An error message will now display if you try to save a new phishing simulation or scenario with the same name as an existing one.

  • You can now send an email to all users who have not completed all of their assigned courses. Previously, trying to do so sometimes caused an application error in environments with a large volume of courses or users.

  • If you download standard or saved reports as an Excel or CSV file, completion dates will be formatted using the Zulu time zone ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD). The time will appear in the default timezone of your platform.

  • You can no longer create an environment filter that starts with "Managed Filter" because this is a reserved system name.

  • When logged in using single sign-on (SSO), you can create phishing simulations with multiple scenarios and import recipients using filters. Previously, this sometimes caused application errors.

  • When configuring the phish submitter add-in, you can now enter more than one email address for the incident response team.

Version: 1.26.2

September, 2021

Fixes
  • The simulation results - by filter report has been improved for greater accuracy. Previously, the count displayed in the columns included every action taken by each user. Now the count includes only unique user actions (for example, if a user clicks multiple times, the count will only increase by one). The affected columns are Send Email, Viewed Images, Clicked Link, Completed Form, Visited Feedback Page, Opened Attachment, and Reported Emails.

  • The Received Emails and Opened Emails columns have been removed. When using the phish submitter add-in, these columns were not representative of the user actions.

August 2021

Fixes
  • You can now delete a course if you delete all the users who have been assigned to it. Previously, the course sometimes could not be deleted even after all the associated users had been deleted.

  • Previously, when you added many languages to a course, the Next and Cancel buttons overlapped with the last language in the list. This has been corrected.

  • Previously, you were sometimes not able to delete a course if certain filters were in use. This issue has been resolved.

  • The standard phishing templates will be ordered by release date, so the most recent templates appear first.

  • You can now replace a previously uploaded attachment with a new file.

  • You can now select the UTC (Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London) time zone when scheduling phishing simulations.

  • The file upload option on the Attachments tab will now display in the correct language.

  • The failed phishing tag is now available when modifying feedback and landing pages. Previously, it sometimes did not appear.

  • If you create a phishing simulation that is restricted to set work hours, emails will only be delivered during those hours. Previously, the end date of the delivery sometimes occurred outside of the defined work hours.

  • If you enter an invalid email address in the email settings for a phishing simulation, a warning message will display. Previously, this caused application errors.

  • You now have a fifteen minute buffer period when scheduling phishing simulation start times. If configuring the simulation takes longer than anticipated and the start time is passed, the simulation will still launch as long as it is within this fifteen minute window.

  • When creating phishing simulations, you can no longer send test emails. This feature has been temporarily removed and will be replaced with an improved version.

  • You can now change the usernames of existing users when uploading user information using a spreadsheet. To do so, add a new column called NewUsername and enter the new usernames.

  • When managing standard content, you can use the Select All button to select or deselect all activities. Previously, this was sometimes not possible.

July 2021

Version: 1.25

July, 2021

Enhancements

  • The phish submitter now supports shared mailboxes, where multiple people use the same mailbox.

  • When creating a phishing simulation using a template, you can download a website to create feedback or landing pages. A dialog box now displays to inform users they must obtain all necessary permissions to reproduce a third-party website and use it in a phishing simulation.

  • New tags have been added to phishing simulation email templates:

    • Username

    • Email delivery date

  • New tags have been added to the phishing simulation templates for landing and feedback pages:

    • Username

    • Email delivery date

    • All tags previously available in email templates

Fixes
  • Previously, you were sometimes not able to create a new course in an environment that contained a high volume of courses. This issue has been resolved.

  • The green progress bar has been corrected for courses with more than 10,000 users to be consistent with courses that have less than 10,000 users. The statistics will now display correctly.

  • The warning messages when you delete customized global email templates, custom email templates, and custom email templates in a non-primary language have been updated to be more helpful.

  • If you edit a course that is already online, you will not need to enter a passing score for the course when saving. Previously, the system sometimes forced you to add a passing score before saving changes.

  • You can remove SCORM packages that have been previously saved under My SCORM Packages in the courses area.

  • If you manually give a user access to a course without adding them to a filter, that user will not be listed when you view the list of users who have been given access to a course using a filter.

  • When creating or modifying a course, the user list on the Access Management tab will now be sorted alphabetically by default.

  • If you change the display language of the UI, the course description and list of activities will display in the same language.

  • When you create a course that does not have content available in all languages, the fields in the Language drop-down list will now display in the correct language.

  • When you change the language of a course that was not developed with the Rise 360 authoring tool, the course will display correctly in the selected language.

  • When creating a quiz in multiple languages, exclamation marks appear on the tabs for languages where information is missing. Previously, the exclamation marks sometimes appeared on tabs even when no information was missing.

  • If you go over the character count limit when typing an answer in response to a quiz question, you will see an error message indicating the maximum number of allowed characters.

  • When running a continuous phishing simulation with multiple scenarios, each subsequent scenario will correctly display the new title and display email. Previously, a title or display email from the previous scenario was sometimes displayed.

  • When creating continuous phishing simulations, the simulation will remain active even if you remove a user.

  • Once a phishing simulation has been completed, you cannot make further changes. Previously, the system sometimes allowed you to modify fields but would not save the changes. You can now also view a completed simulation to copy the source code for the email template, feedback page, and landing page.

  • Once you have launched a phishing simulation, you cannot reset the template. Previously, it was sometimes possible to reset a template even after a phishing simulation had been launched.

  • When creating a single scenario phishing simulation, if you choose a template that contains only languages not available in your environment, the primary language of your environment will be added as the default language for the simulation.

  • When you create a new phishing simulation with a single scenario, you will be able to access the email template, feedback page, and landing page. Previously, this was sometimes not possible.

  • Once you launch a phishing simulation with a single scenario, it will continue to be displayed as a single scenario simulation. Previously, single scenario simulations were sometimes displayed as a multiple scenario simulation after being launched.

  • Inactive templates will be disabled when creating new phishing simulations.

  • The More Actions menu (represented by three dots) will now be available in trial templates for phishing simulations when in grid display mode.

  • When uploading attachments to the email template for a phishing simulation, only .docx and PDF files are supported. You will get an error message if you try to upload another type of file.

  • When you use the Timezone, Active, and Language tags in a phishing simulation email, feedback page, or landing page, the text that is displayed will match the language of the simulation.

  • When you send a test email as part of a phishing simulation, any images you've added will display and links will be functional.

  • You can now import recipients from a phishing simulation that has a name containing an apostrophe.

  • Czech characters will now be properly displayed in HTML attachments for phishing simulations.

  • When you make changes to a recurring email, the email will only be sent at the designated time. Previously, some emails were sent unexpectedly after saving changes.

  • When using custom roles, you can save standard phishing templates under My Templates. Previously, this was sometimes not possible.

  • Content managers can now modify email templates for courses and quizzes even if another user created the course or quiz.

  • There are no longer any restrictions on the length of Managed Filter fields when uploading a user list.

  • Additional support has been added for downloading a user list with multiple managed filters.

  • When you modify a filter, any default values that have been entered will remain unchanged. Previously, making changes to a filter sometimes caused the default values to disappear.

  • If a course is available in multiple languages, the course activity titles will be displayed in the language of the environment, if available.

  • When adding activities from an integration environment, the maximum number of allowed course activities will be updated accordingly.

  • When you select course activities for a microlearning, nanolearning, or nano-video course, the number of activities selected and the maximum number of activities permitted will display correctly.
