April 2020

Version 2020.0

April 2020

Enhancements
  • The product now provides sufficient logs generated at all levels to help to trace activities as well as diagnose any problems through Apple’s native logging system. Administrators can troubleshoot on the client machine with the native logging system Apple provides without third party applications.

  • EWS dependencies have been removed in order to unblock enterprise deployment and to improve the send process efficiency in Outlook. The product can be distributed easier through an MDM solution without use of App Password. Also, product performance has been improved.

Fixes
  • When the TMC add-in is not installed in TCS for Mac and Outlook is unchecked in automation setting, TCS for Mac still flags the error - "Automation (disabled) must be enabled for Office Apps to use TCS for Mac"

  • A custom property is interpreted to numbers in Word while Excel and PowerPoint represent this value accurately in the custom property tab.

  • When Titus Add-in is installed, the Add- in UI is not loaded in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and the “Developer Add-ins” dialog remains open.

May 2019

Version 2019.2
Enhancements
  • The TCS for Mac Third Party Integration Extension is a security and governance extension point that provides third party software with email send event access through a controlled TITUS Interface.

  • Support for Mojave (Mac OS 10.14)

  • TCS for Mac 2019.2 is notarized by the Apple notary service.

Resolves Issues
  • When a Word document is created on Mac and opened on Windows, the font size is increased in footer visual marking. Also, when changing the classification of a Word document opened on Windows, the original TITUS marking on the footer is retained and a second label is applied on the document; the same behaviour is observed when a Word document created on Windows is opened on Mac.

  • The configurations that evaluated attachment classification against mail classification were not evaluating in the same rank order as on a Windows client.

  • The condition to evaluate on sub-classifications was returning inconsistent results, this was due to the validation failing.

January 2019

Version 2019.1 HF1
Enhancements
  • Support for Mojave (Mac OS 10.14)

Fixes
  • In Microsoft Office update (16.20), Save dialog has been changed. Due to the update, when closing a document without saving, a user doesn't get prompted to classify.
