What's New in Phishing Response

Fortra's Agari is always working to improve the Phishing Response product, from fixing issues to improving existing features to adding new features. This topic highlights the feature changes made in Phishing Response, as well as documentation updates not necessarily related to product features.

  • A new feature is the ability to have automated messages sent from Phishing Response, triggered by defined events. An example is a reply sent automatically to the reporter of a phishing message. See Auto-Response Actions.
  • Impact visualizations are limited to the first 100 messages in an investigation. See Campaign Scope.

  • Clarified that if a Phishing Response customer is also a Phishing Defense customer:
    • Additional Phishing Response-specific Sensors are not required because Phishing Response uses the associated Phishing Defense Sensors.
    • User accounts are automatically synchronized between the two products.

  • The name of the product has been changed from "Incident Response" to "Phishing Response." You will see the new naming and an updated logo throughout the product.

  • In large investigations (more than 5000 messages), Phishing Response downsamples for its analysis. This behavior is explained in Large Investigations.
  • Messages can be reported to Phishing Response directly from messages in Phishing Defense. Information about this is in Investigations.
