Spoof Detection on sub-domains

SpamLogic automatically excludes sub-domains from anti-spoof checking.

Changing these settings without good reason can adversely affect spam detection rates. You should normally only perform these actions on the advice of your normal support provider.

Enable or disable anti-spoof checking on sub-domains

  1. Navigate to Policy > Manage Policy Definition > SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page is displayed.

  2. Select the Parameters tab.

  3. In the Spoof Detection panel, click Click here to change these settings.

  4. Select the Enable SpamLogic to include sub-domains in anti-spoof checking check box to enable the setting. Clear the check box to disable.

  5. Click Save.

If you change any configuration or policy settings, you must Apply Configuration for the new settings to take effect. You can do this either from the Changes Made panel, or System > ConfigurationApply Configuration. See Apply new configuration for more information.

If you use Peer Gateways (i.e. when multiple Gateways are peered), any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time. See Configure Peer Gateways for more information.
