Static Address Lists
A Static Address List is a list of addresses which are defined manually by an administrator on the Gateway. You can create a static list, then add entries manually or import addresses from a text file.
Create and Modify a Static List
- Click Policy > Email Addresses.

Click
New. A dialog enables you to select the list type you want to add.

Select Static Address List and click Create.
To edit an existing Static list, select a list from the available entries and click
Edit.
- Edit the Overview section to provide the list with a Name or any relevant Notes. Click Save.

In the [Address] section, click
New to add an entry.
Using wildcards
You can use * (asterisk) to represent 0 or more characters in an address, including . (dot), but excluding @ (at mark).

Each address must include @. For example,
*your-companyname-here.comis an invalid wildcard address due to the missing @. - Enter an email address in the format:
username@domainname. - Click Add.
- When your list is complete, apply the configuration.
Remove a Static List

You cannot delete an Address List that is currently referenced in a policy route. |
- Click Policy > Email Addresses.
- Select a list from the available entries. Click
Delete.
- Click the Delete to confirm the deletion.
- Apply the configuration.
Import Email Addresses
| You can import data from a text file (.txt) of up to 2MB. |
- Click Policy > Email Addresses.
- Select a Static Address List from the available entries. Click
Edit.
- In the task panel, click
Import address list. The Import dialog is displayed.

Click Browse and locate the .txt file containing your data.
Do not select the Delete and replace... check box if you want to keep the entries already contained in the list. - Click Import.
- Apply the configuration.

If you change any configuration or policy settings, you must Apply Configuration for the new settings to take effect. You can do this either from the Changes Made panel, or System > Configuration > Apply Configuration. See Apply new configuration for more information. If you use Peer Gateways (i.e. when multiple Gateways are peered), any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time.
