URL Lists are lists of specific URLs which are referenced by content rules in Secure Email Gateway.
|
URL Lists are used by the Sanitize Message content rule and the Sanitize Document Content rule. |

Mailshell Real-time Malicious URL List
-
These are predefined online sources of known malicious URLs. The Gateway checks the reputation of URLs against the constantly-updated databases of reputations. You cannot view or edit these lists.
These lists are not suitable for use in an offline environment.
Custom URL List
-
A list of URLs you can create, define and update.
Suspicious URL List
-
Heuristic-based rules which identify URLs that have been deliberately created in order to avoid detection. You can configure how the Gateway applies these, using a combination of Rules.

Use the Search text box to find URL Lists. The search button simultaneously applies your search criteria to both the list of URL Lists, and the entries contained within each URL List. You don't need to include the http:// or https:// prefix in your search term as these are implicitly wildcarded. List searches are not case-sensitive, and you can search for a fragment, or part of a word. A search also returns any wildcarded entries in the list. For example, searching for sales.company.com returns *.company.com in your search results. |
