View License
You can view and update the details of your current Secure Email Gateway license from System > Version & License > View License. You can also request a license validation for an updated license.
Normally, your license is automatically validated on a daily basis. As part of this process, it sends a set of validation request data and usage statistics to Fortra.
|
License updates are managed by the Update Server. You should only need to edit your license details manually if you change your license type (for example, from an Evaluation license to a Full license), or under specific instructions from Fortra. |

If you change any configuration or policy settings, you must Apply Configuration for the new settings to take effect. You can do this either from the Changes Made panel, or System > Configuration > Apply Configuration. See Apply new configuration for more information. If you use Peer Gateways (i.e. when multiple Gateways are peered), any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time. See Peer Gateways for more information. |
