Vertical alignment determines whether content within a cell appears at the top, bottom, or middle of the available space within the cell.

 

Change the vertical alignment of data in one cell

image\BM1.gif Right-click in the cell and choose Properties > Table. Click the Size & Alignment tab. Select the vertical alignment you prefer.

 

Change the vertical alignment of data in multiple cells

image\BM1.gif Select the cells, rows, or columns for which you want to adjust alignment. Right-click and then choose Properties > Table. Click the Size & Alignment tab. Select the vertical alignment you prefer.
