Define a custom field

A page can include up to three custom fields.

1. Right-click a page in the map and choose Properties > Page.

2. Click the Custom Fields tab.

3. Type information for the custom fields.

• As with the other fields, you must enter custom field information for each page individually. If you want a number of pages to have the same custom fields, create one blank or starter page with the correct page layout and fields, and then copy it multiple times.

• You can enter text only in custom fields, not formulas or macros.

• As with the other six fields, you can insert a custom field in a page or use the custom field when creating field links.
