Create a tour sequence

Tour sequences are reading paths through specific pages in a file. Tour sequences are made up of a series of container pages that include read-only versions of other CuteSITE Builder pages in the page body.

1. Right-click the map and choose Insert Tour Sequence. Be sure to right-click the map itself, and not a map element, or the Insert Tour Sequence command may not appear. CuteSITE Builder indicates a tour sequence with a thick horizontal line.

2. To add a page to the tour sequence, right-click the page and choose Add Page to Tour.

When you add a page to a tour sequence, CuteSITE Builder creates a container page, places a copy of the current CuteSITE Builder page in the container page, and moves it to the current tour sequence. You can customize the narration border of the container page with tour-specific information about the page.

CuteSITE Builder indicates container pages in the map with a red dot.

• You can also choose Insert > Tour Sequence to create a tour.

• If you have already created a container page that includes a CuteSITE Builder page, you can drag and drop the page to the tour sequence line to add it to the tour sequence.

• To remove a page from a tour sequence, select the page and press Delete.

• Initially, each page on a tour sequence uses the standard container page layout from the current Web design. You can change this layout or adjust the page borders manually.

• The titles of pages added to a tour sequence are automatically entered as Tour: followed by the title of the page being referenced. If you later change the title of the referenced page, the container page title is not updated. You can manually change any container page properties at any time.

• When you publish your site to the Web, subordinate sequences and tour sequences (connected by up level links to a first-level sequence) will be included up to twelve levels. Sequences below the twelfth level remain in the file, but are not exported to the Web.
