Display the outline
By default, the outline appears on the left side of the CuteSITE Builder screen. You can float the outline so you can move it where you want, or dock it above or to the right of the page area.
Display the outline
Choose View > Outline > Show or press F11.
To increase the size of the outline area, drag the boundary between the outline and the page area.
Float the outline
1 Choose View > Outline > Float.
OR
Double-click the active window ribbon at the top of the outline.
2 Drag the title bar to move the floating outline around the screen.
To resize a floating outline area, move the mouse pointer over its boundary so that the pointer becomes a two-headed arrow. Then drag the boundary until the outline is the desired size.
Dock a floating outline area
Choose View > Outline > Float to remove the check mark.
OR
Double-click the active window ribbon of the floating outline area.
OR
1. Right-click on the outline's title bar and choose Allow Docking.
2. Click and drag the title bar of the floating outline toward the edge of the application where you want it to be docked (top or left). When the outline jumps to indicate that it may be ready to dock, release the mouse button.
Notes
Choose View > Outline > Hide to hide the outline.
By default, the outline displays pages hierarchically. Page titles of pages that are part of a sequence or tour sequence appear indented under the sequence title and pages with an up link appear indented beneath the page to which they are linked. You can click the + and - symbols in the outline to expand or collapse the hierarchical groupings.
You can also show a flat list of pages in the outline. When displayed as a flat list, all page titles appear at the same level, without indents. CuteSITE Builder initially displays the pages in an order determined by the page ID sequence, which roughly corresponds to the order in which the pages were created.
If you are checking the spelling of a Web site file, or searching an entire file, the outline determines the order in which CuteSITE Builder moves through the pages.
When you save a file, CuteSITE Builder also saves whether the outline is displayed, the way in which the outline appears (hierarchical or flat list), and the order in which pages and sequences appear in the outline list.
The outline does not appear when you publish to the Web.
