Copy an existing page
1. In the map, click the page you want to copy.
2. Press and hold Ctrl as you drag away a copy of the page.
3. Release the mouse button and then the Ctrl key. The copy of the page includes all text, pictures, formatting, links, and fields that appeared in the original page.
Notes
You can copy more than one page at the same time by dragging a selection box around the pages in the map, and then pressing and holding Ctrl and dragging away copies of all the selected pages.
When you copy a group of pages, links in each page that refer to other pages also being copied are adjusted to refer from the original page to the copied page. Links in the original pages remain the same.
You can also copy a single page or group of pages using the Cut, Copy, and Paste icons, the Edit menu commands, or the right-click menu commands.
Copying a blank page to which you have added formatting (such as a company logo in a border) is a quick way to create a consistent look for a series of pages, or ensure that multiple pages have the same fields. The Page Tips and Techniques topic discusses "cloning" pages in more detail. If you use such pages regularly, however, create a page layout instead.
A page’s appearance in the map depends on your recent actions.
You can copy and paste pages between CuteSITE Builder files. See Page Tips and Techniques for ideas on copying text and pages between multiple CuteSITE Builder files.
You cannot move map elements (such as pages, labels, and shapes) beyond the borders of the map. Be aware, however, that the borders of the map are much larger than the borders of the CuteSITE Builder window and you can drag an element to scroll the map. Use the OverAll Map to locate a map element that is out of sight, or scroll the map to bring the element into view. As an alternative to scrolling, you can choose Map > Main > 200% or Map > Main > 100% to change the level of detail in the map.
