Display and use the OverAll map

 

The OverAll map provides a "birds-eye view" of all pages and other elements in the map. The OverAll map includes a box that you can drag to change the area displayed in the main map.

By default, the OverAll map is floating, so that you can drag it to any position on the screen. You can dock it.

 

Display the OverAll map

Choose Map > OverAll > Show.

 

Use the OverAll map

Move the box to the area in the OverAll map you want to display in the main map.

OR

Click an area in the OverAll map. The box follows the mouse pointer.

OR

If the main map is hidden, you can create and edit map elements directly in the OverAll map.

 

Reposition or resize the OverAll map

To float the OverAll map, double-click in its active window ribbon, or choose Map > OverAll > Float.

To move the OverAll map when it is floating, drag its title bar.

To change the map's size, right-click and choose Properties, and then adjust the width and height settings.

To prevent the map from floating, double-click in its active window ribbon, or choose Map > OverAll > Float to remove the check mark.
