Align map elements
You can align two or more map elements with each other.
1. Select the map elements you want to align. To select multiple map elements, click the first element, press and hold Ctrl, and then click the additional elements, or use a selection box.
2. Choose Map > Alignment.
3. Choose one of the following:
Left: Moves selected map elements horizontally so they appear left-aligned on a vertical line with the leftmost selected element.
Center: Moves selected map elements horizontally so they appear centered on a vertical line midway between the leftmost and rightmost selected elements.
Right: Moves selected map elements horizontally so they appear right-aligned on a vertical line with the rightmost selected element.
Top: Moves selected map elements vertically so they appear top-aligned on a horizontal line with the topmost selected element.
Middle: Moves selected map elements vertically so they appear on a horizontal line midway between the topmost and bottom-most selected elements.
Bottom: Moves selected map elements vertically so they appear bottom-aligned on a horizontal line with the bottom-most selected element.
Notes
Map elements include pages, labels, shapes, pictures, sequences, and tour sequences.
By default, the CuteSITE Builder map provides an automatic grid that you can turn on and off. These alignment commands work regardless of the current grid setting.
You can lock shapes and pictures in place on the map so that you don’t inadvertently move them while moving pages, labels, sequences, or tour sequences. Right-click in the map and choose Lock Background to lock map elements.
