Templates are files that contain a number of already created pages and sequences designed for a specific purpose, which you can customize with your own information. Use a template to give your Web site a head start by using pages, links, and map elements that are pre-configured.
A template is basically a completed CuteSITE Builder file that has been "hollowed out" so that you can place your own content within its pages. The templates supplied with CuteSITE Builder also contain examples of links to other Web pages, pictures in the background and foreground of pages or the map, tables, links, and fields.
You may want to create your own templates to reuse yourself or to distribute to other users. The Page Layout Editor lets you customize page layouts within an existing template, to add your own company's pictures or boilerplate to each page.
