Change the same thing on every page

You will notice that many of your pages have the same elements (titles and borders). A common task is to change the page formatting globally, or adjust the same thing on every page either adding a picture as wallpaper or a decoration, or changing the size of the title, or turning off a page area (border). To do this:

1. Go to one of the pages on which you want to make the change.

2. Choose Tools > Page Layout Editor.

3. In the Page Layout Editor, note which page layout you are editing: Text, Detail, or Home.

4. On this page, make any changes you want.

·   To change the size of a side page area or turn it off all together, right-click in it and choose Properties > Page Area. Adjust the check boxes on the General tab and click OK.

·   To change the size of the page title, select it and then choose a new font size from the toolbar. (Be careful changing the font size since many fonts do not appear on most browsers.)

·   To add special text (such as an email link) or a picture on every page, simply insert it where you'd like to see it. It will appear before any page-specific content.

5. Choose Finished to return to your Web site file.

If your changes did not take effect as you intended, note that there are several different page layouts you can edit; you may have edited a different one than you intended. You can also make your own new page layout and apply it to any number of pages within your Web site file. For details see:
