You can set CuteFTP Server to automatically check the user authentication database at regular intervals to make sure the server's user information is correct and up-to-date. This feature updates the Server Engine only. You must manually refresh user information in the Administrator Interface in order to see changes on-screen.
Start the Administrator Interface and connect to the Server.
At the bottom of the left pane, click the Server tab.
In the left pane, expand a Server group
Select a Server.
In the right pane, click the Server Options tab.
In the Default User Database Refresh Interval list, select how often you want the Server Engine service to check for changes to the authentication database. If you do not want the service to check, select Never refresh user list automatically.
Note: Because CuteFTP Server home only supports modifications and additions through the Administrator Interface and not using COM, an ODBC datasource, or NT accounts, you should leave this toogle unchecked and refresh manually (by clicking on the apply) button in the Administrator Interface once you've made any modifications or additions from the Administrator Interface.
Click Apply.
