Document evaluation consists of evaluating its performance and indicating:
The weight of the HTML document,
The weight of the HTML document taking the links into account
Evaluation of the transfer speed taking into account the speed of different modems.
Inventory of the errors in the document and of non valid links. If there are errors and non valid links, it will be necessary to perform a document check to find out the details.
Display the file to be evaluated.
From the Syntax menu, select Evaluate Document. You can also use the shortcut CTRL+F6 (Refer to list of shortcuts).
The File Evaluation dialog box lists the total number of open files, the total size of the documents, the number of valid links, and the number of non valid links.
On the bottom of the edit window a small window appears which lists the errors and the warnings found during the check. This window displays the name of the document, the line number and the description of the error or warning.

You can double click on the error or warning line in order to go directly to the line where the error is indicated in the document.
To close the error and warning message window, click on the X located on the left.
