Expiring a User Account

You can specify a user account to expire on a specific date. Expired accounts are not removed from EFT Server; they can be enabled at any time.

To disable a user on a specific date (account expiration)

  1. In EFT Administrator, connect to EFT Server and click the Server tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the User account for which you want to set an expiration date.

  3. In the right pane, click the Main tab.

  1. Select the Expire this account after check box, then click the down arrow to select an expiration date.

  2. Click Apply to save the changes on EFT Server. On the specified date, a red "X" appears over the user icon in the left pane, and the User account is disabled.

To enable an expired account

  1. In EFT Administrator, connect to EFT Server and click the Server tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the user account that you want to enable.

  3. In the right pane, click the Main tab.

  4. Clear the Expire this account after check box and select the Enable this user account check box.

  5. Click Apply to save the changes on EFT Server. The red "X" disappears over the user icon in the left pane.
