EFT Server optionally includes the Web Transfer Client, which is a browser-based file transfer client that allows users to transfer files over HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol; An application protocol that runs on top of the TCP/IP suite of protocols used for Internet/intranet communications, typically over port 80. See HTTPS) or HTTPS (a secure HTTP connection; HTTP is used, but with TCP port 443 and an additional encryption/authentication layer between the HTTP and TCP) using a Web browser to and from any EFT Server. The client deploys automatically if you have a license for the client and the client is enabled for the user in EFT Administrator.
The Local Filesystem displays files on the user's computer.
The Remote Filesystem displays the files accessible to the user on EFT Server.
The Queue Pane displays the items being transferred.
