Enabling Protocols in a Settings Template

FTP, HTTP, AS2, SFTP, and SSL connections are configured on the Site and then can be enabled or disabled at the Site or Settings Template, or for each user. The port through which the user connects is determined on the Site.

If the check box contains a gray check mark, the user or Settings Template is inheriting permission from the parent.

To enable a connection protocol

  1. In the administration interface, connect to EFT Server and click the Server tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the Settings Template or user that you want to configure.

  3. In the right pane, click the Connections tab.

  4. Do one or more of the following:

  5. Click Apply to save the changes on EFT Server.
