Setting Folder Permissions

You can set permissions for virtual folders by Group or per user. See The Virtual File System (VFS) for details of how permissions work.

To set folder permissions

  1. In the Administrator, connect to the server, then click the VFS tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the folder you want to configure.

  3. In the right pane, click the user or Group you want to modify or click Add to add a user or Group.

  4. Select or clear the appropriate permission check boxes in the File Permissions, Folder Permissions, and Contents areas.

  5. Click Apply.
