Optional Permissions for Administrator

On the Server > administration tab, you can add/remove optional permissions for a selected administrator account.

The optional permissions include:

  • Run & Edit Reports - Allows the selected administrator account to run and edit reports

  • COM (programmatic control) - Allows the selected administrator account to use COM API objects to manage EFT

  • Manage personal data - Allows the selected administrator to manage user account information. An administrator user without permission to Manage personal data can view personal data in the EFT Logs. Remote administrators cannot see the logs.

  • REST administrator role - Used to apply full or read-only access to a selected administrator account when Enable REST API is selected. Other permissions can be configured in the PermissionRoles.json file.

Each of these options is enabled by default and independent of the account permissions policy selected (that is, delegated administrators).
