Override VFS Credentials

You can create a Virtual Folder that points to a file system share at a Azure Data Lake Storage URL, and provide your Azure Data Lake Storage credentials.

To enable the VFS credential override

  1. In the administration interface, connect to EFT and click the Server tab.

  2. On the Server tab, click the Site you want to configure.

  3. In the right pane, click the General tab.

  4. Next to the Site root folder box, click Configure. The Site root folder configuration dialog box appears.

  5. Click Configure. The Override VFS Credentials dialog box appears.

  6. Select the Enable VFS credentials override check box. The Login and Password boxes become enabled.

  7. Provide the credentials for your Azure Data-Lake supported container and the security key (password), then click OK.

  8. You can now create a Folder Monitor rule to monitor any changes made to that storage.

  9. In the Folder box, provide the path to the Azure Data Lake Storage.

  10. Select the Use the following credentials check box and provide your Azure Data Lake Storage credentials.

  11. Select the Require Active Directory domain trust relationship check box.

  12. Click OK to save the changes.

  13. Add other Conditions or Actions as needed, then click Apply to save the Event Rule.
