Installing/Deploying or Updating a Product
To install or update a product on a Linux/Unix server
- In the Navigation Pane, under Application Manager, click Marketplace.
- Click Install on the product you would like to work with.
- On the Select Systems page, choose the systems on which you want to load the product. In order for licensing to function properly, your selection must not include both AIX and Linux servers. To install or update on both, select all servers of one platform, proceed with the remaining steps, then repeat this procedure for the other platform.
- Click Install.
- To change the details of the install, fill in the configuration options on the Install Screen.
- Select from a license already set up in Powertech Antivirus or select Do not Deploy a License.
- Choose the directory you would like to use for the install.
- Select if you would like Sudo on or off.
- Click Install.
- Review the confirmation pane, then click Install again.
To deploy a product in the Cloud
- In the Navigation Pane, under Application Manager, click Marketplace.
- Click Deploy on the product you would like to work with.
- Read the license agreement and press Agree to continue.
- Enter a host name for new product deployment.
- Enter an alias for new product deployment.
- Fill in the parameters that are specific to the product you are deploying. For more information on specific product parameters, see Install/Deploy Pane.
- Click Deploy.
- Review the confirmation pane, then click Confirm.
