Creating a New Query

Creating a new query is fast and easy using the Query Builder Wizard Mode (the default). During the creation process you will be able to:

  • Add and Join tables
  • Choose, edit and create columns
  • Create grouped results
  • Filter results
  • Sort results
  • Create and add parameters

Steps

  1. Select Custom Data Sources \ Databases \ Queries from the Analytics home screen. A list of queries displays (see Working with Queries for more information about this screen).
  2. To start press Add Query to open the New Query panel.

  3. Fill in the options (described below) to define the initial settings for a new query.

  4. Press Edit Query to continue to the Query Editor.
