Disabling/Enabling Agents

Situations may arise that requires Automate Enterprise agents to be disabled, such as during maintenance periods or holidays. In such cases, you can prevent one or agents from monitoring any conditions or running any tasks or processes by disabling them. When an agent is disabled, all conditions monitored by the agent or all processes or tasks that run on the agent are bypassed during workflow execution.

Disabling/Enabling Individual Agents

To disable a single agent:

  1. From the Agents page, click Show Actions The Show Actions button. for the agent you wish to disable.
  2. Select Disable from the actions pop-up menu. For easy detection, a disabled icon will appear next to the name of the newly disabled agent.

To enable a disabled agent, follow the same steps above and select Enable. The option Disable or Enable alternates based on the current condition of the agent.

Disabling/Enabling Multiple Agents

For convenience, multiple agents can be disabled or enabled sequentially. To disable two or more agents:

  1. From the Agents page, click the checkbox located at the very left of each agent you wish to disable. To select all records, click the top-most Select All checkbox.
  2. Click the Disable button that appears on the title bar. If any of the selected agents are already disabled, no action will be applied to those agents and they will remain disabled.

To enable two or more disabled agents, follow the same steps above and click the Enable button from the title bar.
