Adding a New Profile

Add profiles for the IBM i and Automate Enterprise systems that you need to access.

  1. In the Navigation Panel, clicktap Profiles under Account. If the menu is hidden, clicktap The Account icon..

  2. ClickTap Add.

  3. Enter a Name for the profile. This is the name that is displayed in the Insite interface.

  4. Enter a valid profile User Name and Password (and Confirm Password) for the IBM i system or BPA server that you need to access.

    NOTE: This is the user who is checked for security in each product, and is also the one who is audited when actions are taken.

  5. ClickTap Save.

After you add profiles, you must assign them to the server connections in order to see the data from those systems.
