My Network
My Network gives you an overall look at the health of the network set up in Robot Network. It shows the IBM i systems that HelpSystems Insite is connected to. By default, the hosts are sorted by the severity of statuses, with the host having the greatest number of the most severe statuses appearing at the top of the list. The total number of statuses for each host, node group, and node is also displayed.
In the Navigation Pane, clicktap My Network under the Robot Network menu. If the menu is hidden, hover over the Navigation Pane to expand it.
Things to know:
-
The colored icon by each row shows you the highest level of statuses that are waiting: A red icon means Attention, a yellow one Warning, and a blue one Informational. A green icon means that there are zero statuses waiting.
-
A gray icon indicates that the IBM i system has been disconnected (offline).
-
The total number of statuses shown for a host may be more than the total of the statuses for its nodes if there are any NETHOST statuses on the host.
-
If a host system is currently not running (stopped), but its IBM i connection is available, the last available status numbers for its nodes is displayed. However, if the nodes have an alternate host that is running, they will display under that host.
-
If a host system isn't available at all (either disconnected or offline for some other reason), it's listed as offline, and no information about its nodes is displayed.
Things to do:
-
ClickTap any of the colored lines to toggle between seeing the total number of statuses and a breakdown of the number of statuses of each severity. Note: Hosts that were stopped (Host Offline) will show the numbers from when they went offline.
