Node Groups
Robot Network provides you with the ability to set up a network node group for all of the nodes that have the same applications, or all nodes with common running patterns. By using a node group, you save the time and effort required to select or send to multiple nodes individually. You can set up as many node groups as you need.
In the Navigation Pane, clicktap My Network under the Robot Network menu. If the menu is hidden, hover over the Navigation Pane to expand it. Then, clicktap Show Actions next to the node you want to view and select Node Group Properties.
The My Network page lists the node groups that have been created for each host. When you're creating or editing a group, the Node Group Properties page allows you to name and describe the node group, and specify the nodes that belong to it.
Follow these steps:
-
To add a new node group, clicktap Show Actions next to the Node Group and select New.
To edit an existing group, clicktap Show Actions next to the group you want to edit and select Edit.
To copy an existing group to create a new one, clicktap Show Actions next to the group you want to copy and select Copy. The copy of the node group will have the same nodes in it as the original group.
-
Type the Node Group Name in the field. The name must be unique on this host.
-
Type a Description for the node group.
-
To add a node to this group, click the Add button. Then, select a node.
-
To delete a node from this group, clicktap Show Actions next to the node you want to remove and select Delete.
-
Click Save.
