Reports Overview
Robot Network allows you to generate reports to summarize your metrics, network setup, and activity history. These reports fall into three categories: history reports, setup reports, and metrics reports. There is also a Good Morning Report that summarizes recent system or network activity. The Good Morning Report summarizes a specific host's status and packet traffic during a specified date/time range. The report lists statuses by type and severity.
See Reports for information on working with the Reports page. See Adding or Editing a Report for information about setting up Robot Network reports.
The following describes the reports that are available in Robot Network. They're listed alphabetically.
Summarizes recent system or Robot Network activity, as well as a specific host's status and packet traffic during a specified date/time range. The report lists statuses by type and severity. It also lists packets by status, user, and node distributions. Use the report each morning to track your host or network status and packet information.
You can also create a Consolidated Good Morning Report that contains data from all of the current hosts in Robot Network. See below for more information about this option.
Lists the properties of the host, its nodes, the Product Master release levels for the Robot products that are installed, information about product statuses (including escalation methods and the number of days to retain statuses), information about user application statuses (including escalation methods and the number of days to retain statuses), and information about host visibility.
Displays the properties, product release levels, and product status information for each node defined to the host.
Displays packet distribution information for a host, using the date/time range indicated at the beginning of the report and whatever filter was used to generate the report. This information includes the packet's name and description (including the nodes to which it was sent), its associated product, its creator, the date and time it was created on the Host, the date and time it was installed on the node, and the status of the distribution process.
Displays the performance metrics for a specific node and date range. The report lists the host date and time, the node date and time and the performance metrics description and value.
You can also create a Consolidated Performance Metrics Report that contains data from all of the current hosts in Robot Network. See below for more information about this option.
Displays the product metrics for a specific product and date range. The report lists the host date and time, the node date and time and the product metrics description and value.
Details the Robot Network security setup. It indicates whether security is turned on, each secured user and their role, and each secured object with its associated security roles: Administrator, Operator, User, and user-defined, as well as rights and restrictions. The authority levels are Exclude, Change, View, and Use.
Displays basic software and hardware information about the host IBM i server and each of its nodes, including the type of operating system, the operating system level, and the hardware key.
Displays the history of statuses sent by a node (or nodes) for a specific product, date range, and severity. The report lists the product, the node, the host, the severity, the current status, the date and time (on the node) the node created the status, and the date and time (on the host) the host received the status.
You can also create a Consolidated Status History Report that contains data from all of the current hosts in Robot Network. See below for more information about this option.
Consolidated Reports
Robot Network allows you to create consolidated versions of the Good Morning Report, Status History Report, and Performance Metrics Report. A consolidated report spans all of the host and node systems in the network. These reports are identical to their single-host counterparts, with the exception of having a separate section of information for each host currently active in the network.
Displays status and packet information during a specific date range for all of the hosts currently active in the network.
Displays the performance metrics sent by the nodes during a specific date range for each host currently active in the network.
Displays the history of statuses sent by a node (or nodes) for a specific product, date range, and severity for each host currently active in the network.
