IP Address Groups
IP address groups allow you to set rules when a number of locations need the same location filter rules applied to them. Use the Work with IP Address Groups panel to create, change, and delete groups, as well as define IP address groupings.
Exit Point Manager IP address groupings allow you to associate IP addresses with an IP address group name. Once you've associated a set of IP addresses with a group name, you can specify the group name as a location when entering location rules. Exit programs check to see if an IP address is part of a group. If the address is part of a group and no specific rule for it exists, the group name is used to determine if a specific rule exists.
- To specify an IP address grouping, select the IP address group to which you want to assign addresses.
- On the Work with IP Address Groups panel, enter option 5 next to the group name.
- The Work with IP Address Groupings panel displays allowing you to add a range of IP addresses to the specified address group.
