Mail Server tab

The Mail Server tab allows you to enter information about the e-mail server that is used to deliver messages to recipients of batch reports.

How to Get There

Right-click the Consolidator and choose Properties, then choose the Mail Server tab.

 

Enter the following information on the Mail Server tab:

• Mail Server: Enter the e-mail server you want to use.
• Username: If the mail server requires a login to send e-mail, enter a user name.
• Password: Enter a password for the login.
• E-mail address: To test the mail server settings you've entered, enter a valid e-mail address and click Send Message to have Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i send a test message to the specified e-mail address.
