Working with Object Reports
Object reports detail the authority to different object types on your system. Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i provides the following predefined Object report groups. Each report group includes individual reports you can select to run.
When you select to run an Object report, the tab allows you to set object limits for the selected reports.

- IBM Commands with Public Authority not *EXCLUDE

- Objects by Location (ASP)
- Objects by Owner

To manually request an object report
- Right-click the Endpoint or Group of Endpoints you would like to run the report (assessment) for and choose Request Assessment.
- Select the report(s) you want to run. You can add a description for the set of reports.
When selecting Object reports (Authority) you will be asked to select the Object Limits.
- Click the Object Limits tab. Object Limits are based on where you want to pull the information from.
/ (Root), /QSYS.LIB/, or a particular library /QSYS.LIB/TEST.LIB/. You can also include all subdirectories.
- Click Save then Finish to request the object report.
