User Reports

User reports detail user access to a system. Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i provides several predefined user profile reports to help you monitor user access:

All Profile Information
Disabled Profiles
Group Profile Membership
Group Profiles
Group Profiles with Password
Group Profiles with Special Authorities

NOTE: Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i also checks to see if a user profile has inherited any special authorities by its membership in any groups.

Inactive Profiles—Profiles that have not been used in more than 90 days.
Invalid Sign-On Attempts—Profiles with one or more invalid sign-on attempts.
Powerful Group Profiles—Group profiles with *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities.
Powerful Profiles—Profiles with *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities.
Profile Object Authority Information
Profiles with Command Line —Profiles that have command line access (Limit capabilities is set to *NO or *PARTIAL).
Profiles with Default Passwords—Profiles whose password is the same as the profile name.
Profiles with Expired Passwords
Profiles with Special Authority

Powertech Compliance Monitor for IBM i also provides a Profile Scorecard that rates user profiles against your security policy.
