New Features

  • The new Targeting feature enables assigning targeted Configurations to user groups in a domain. When launching Office Add-in for the first time after the new release (or after being onboarded), the consent and permissions dialog may appear to request permission to read user and group information for the user targeting feature.

Enhancements

  • Office Add-in now supports Fail Open behavior as the default failure behavior, allowing users to send emails without applying classification if Titus Classification Service encounters an error.

Fixes

  • When you click Send button in Outlook Online for a New message, or in Reply/Forward of a message, the message pops out in a window and you need to click Send again to send the message. Any triggered Policy Alerts will be displayed after the pop out window. This issue can be fixed by following the instructions in Google Workspace documentation. See "Classification user experience > Disable pop out behavior for on send Event of Outlook Online (optional)" section.

  • Sensitivity for Credit Card number is not detected in the Office Add-in if the credit card number is on a line by itself. This issue is fixed now.

  • Office Add-in now supports Set classification Action for Word and Excel documents. This provides capability to set classification of a document based on a policy triggered on classification change Event.

  • Office Add-in now supports basic alerts for Word and Excel documents. The Alert dialog can be configured to display policy violations in documents and the user can acknowledge the alerts. Document alerts are warnings only and does not prevent user actions.

  • Office Add-in for Word and Excel Online now supports Field behavior for Schema Fields. This feature enables you to allow, warn or prevent upgrade, downgrade or changes to the original classification of a document.

Fixes

  • The issue where Apply header/footer Action does not apply header and footer to all sections when multiple sections are available in a document, is fixed now.

New Features

  • With Titus Office Add-in for Outlook Online 2020.x installed, users will experience that the message compose window automatically pops out as they click the Send button. Any Actions that are triggered with On send Event will appear when the pop out window is opened. All other functionality works fine. This is due to the recent change made in Outlook Online by Microsoft. The current workaround is sending the email on the pop-out message window. Titus is currently looking for a solution and has requested Microsoft technical support.

  • Titus Office Add-in is extended to support Office 365 Word and Excel. You can classify documents in Word and Excel Online with Titus Office Add-in registration, and this does not require any additional client side service installations.

  • Titus Office Add-in for Word and Excel Online supports,

    • Manually selecting classification.

    • Applying header/footer in a document on classification change.

    • Persistent classification when a document is downloaded.

NOTE: If a document that is created in Word desktop application contains content control objects such as page numbers in the document header/footer, Titus Office Add-in will suspend with no response when you try to apply classification for this document in Word Online. With this current limitation of Office Add-in, the header/footer will not be applied if the document contains content control objects from Word desktop application. However, the classification will be applied to the document.

Enhancements

  • Office Add-in now supports displaying Alternate text labels for Schema Field Values in the body tag or subject label of an email.

Fixes

  • Outlook Online: Suggest=FALSE On classification change allows the user to apply a non suggested Schema value. This behavior is expected as designed currently.

  • Outlook Online: Apply button on Classification Selector pane is moving when resizing a new window. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: Select Classification dialog sizing issue. This issue is fixed now.

  • When there are conditional Fields, Set classification Action On classification change Event cannot be applied to multiple Fields, and keeps Suggest=FALSE for Field conditionality. This issue is fixed now.

  • Suggested classification Value is automatically applied even when a user chooses to cancel Suggest dialog On classification change Event. This issue is fixed now.

  • On Classification Selector pane, when hovered over a Field Value, a built in Tooltip is displayed. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: Schema obligation is re-applied when the Classification Selector pane is relaunched. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: long dropdown list for a Field in classification pane keeps the list moving up. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: when Office Add-in is pinned, classification metadata is not refreshed in Read mode of Classification pane. This issue is fixed now when the messages are grouped by conversation. When messages are not grouped and viewed individually, it is recommended to close the Classification pane of the current message before viewing the next message.

  • Outlook Online: if there are multiple Actions to Apply subject label, only the last Action's Subject label will be applied. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: When Location is set as "Before and After" for Apply subject label Action, Subject label is not displayed before Subject. This issue is fixed now.

  • Changes to enclosing bracket type in Apply Subject label Action are not applied effectively in subsequent replies of a message. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: Selected classification value is remembered in Classification Selector instead of saved value when there is Field conditionality under a Suggest=TRUE Field. This issue is fixed now.

  • If there is a hidden Field, Force selection dialog keeps popping up even when there are no required Fields. This issue is fixed now.

  • When added to the content in Apply body tab Action, HTML Images are not displayed in a message's Header/Footer. Images are not yet supported in HTML content of Actions.

  • On Forward of a message, footer of Apply body tag Action is applied at the bottom of message instead of at the end of reply text. This issue is fixed now.

  • On Reply of a message, body tag is duplicated when sent with original classification. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: Saved metadata is in a "forever" saving mode when multiple New message windows are open and Classification pane is pinned. For a selected New message window, currently selected classification is not saved on apply. This issue is fixed now.

  • Office Add-in prevents calendar item from being sent. This issue is fixed now.

  • Outlook Online: character limit on Custom X-Header triggers Office Add-in to prevents messages from being sent. This issue is fixed now.
