OpenDocument Spreadsheet - Hide/Unhide worksheet |
Declaration
<AMODS ACTIVITY="hide_unhide_worksheet" WORKBOOK="text" OPENPASSWORD="text (encrypted)" SAVETYPE="text (options)" DESTINATION="text" OVERWRITEDESTINATION="YES/NO" WORKSHEET="text" ACTIONTYPE="text(options)" /> |
Description
Hides an Excel worksheet or unhides a currently hidden one. This activity can be executed individually or with a group of other OpenDocument Spreadsheet activities linked to an established session.
NOTE: Unlike Automate's Excel activities, the OpenDocument Spreadsheet activities do not rely on Microsoft's Excel engine to perform their work, therefore, Microsoft Excel does not need to be installed on the system in order to use these activities. Supported file types include Excel (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsb, *.xlsm ), Open document spreadsheet (*.ods) and CSV (Comma Separated Value) files (*.csv). |
Practical Usage
Used to control the visibility of Excel worksheets. Sometimes, developers may require to make a few worksheets hidden and others visible in the Excel file for their own interest. This activity is ideal in such situations.
