Description
Renames an existing key in the registry.
IMPORTANT:Incorrectly editing the registry may severely damage your system. Do not edit the Windows registry unless you are confident about doing so. |
Practical Usage
Used to rename a registry key. Don't attempt to rename keys without a very good reason. If Windows can't find specific registry keys it needs, it might not boot or operate properly.
NOTE:To make changes to a registry key, you must have the appropriate permissions. |
