Divide a page
CuteSITE Builder includes three options for dividing a page. You can divide a page without creating any links; divide a page and create a text link from the existing page to the new page; or divide a page and add the new page to a sequence.
Divide a page
In the page area, place the cursor where you want the break to occur and choose Edit > Break Page > Create New Page.
CuteSITE Builder creates a new page and places all text after the cursor onto the new page. If there was no text following the cursor, CuteSITE Builder adds an empty page.
Divide a page and create a link
In the page area, place the cursor where you want the break to occur and choose Edit > Break Page > Create Linked Page.
CuteSITE Builder creates a new page and places all text after the cursor onto the new page. If there was no text following the cursor, CuteSITE Builder adds an empty page. On the original page, CuteSITE Builder creates a basic link to the second page. The text of the basic link is (more).
Divide a page and add the new page to a sequence
In the page area, place the cursor where you want the break to occur and choose Edit > Break Page > Add to Sequence.
CuteSITE Builder creates a new page in the current sequence and places all text after the cursor onto the new page. If there was no text following the cursor, CuteSITE Builder adds an empty page. If the original page was not in a sequence, CuteSITE Builder creates a sequence and adds both pages to it.
Notes
You can also divide pages using the keyboard combinations Ctrl+Enter (break and add to sequence), Ctrl+Shift+Enter (break and create linked page), and Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Enter (break and create new page).
When you divide a page, both of the resulting pages have the same page layout and the same content in all page areas other than the one you divided.
CuteSITE Builder suggests a title for each newly created page, which you can change.
You can display two page areas at once in CuteSITE Builder. The page areas can contain either the same or different pages.
After you divide a page and create a link, you can edit the text of the (more) link CuteSITE Builder creates just as you would edit any other basic link. Or, you can delete the (more) link and replace it with either a field link or a navigation link.
