Move map elements
Move a single element
Click and drag the element.
Move a number of elements at the same time
1. Select the elements you want to move.
2. Click and drag one of the selected elements. All selected elements move with the element you drag.
Map elements include pages, labels, shapes, pictures, sequences, and tour sequences. All but pages have visible handles; if you click and drag a handle, you may resize the element instead of moving it.
You can move and copy map elements between CuteSITE Builder files.
To cancel a move in progress, press Esc. To undo a completed move, press Edit > Undo.
To add or subtract elements from a group selection, press and hold either the Shift key or Ctrl key and click the elements. You can also press and hold the Shift key and then drag a selection box to add more elements to a current group selection.
You can also use group selection to place a number of pages in a sequence.
If you lock the map background, the group selection box selects pages, labels, sequences, and tour sequences, but not shapes or pictures.
You cannot move map elements beyond the borders of the map. However, you can drag an element against the edge of the map window to cause the map to scroll. Use the OverAll Map to locate a map element that is out of sight, or scroll the map to bring the element into view. As an alternative to scrolling, you can choose Map > Main > 200% or Map > Main > 100% to change the level of detail in the map.
