Add a label to the map
1. Right-click the map and choose Insert Label. The text Type_label_here appears, with a blue highlight to indicate that it can be edited.
2. Type the text of the label you want to insert.
3. When you finish, press Enter or click the map outside the label text.
4. (Optional) Drag the label to the desired location.
Notes
You can also add a label to the map by choosing Map > Insert Label, or dragging and dropping selected text from the page area into the map. In the latter case, you can press Ctrl to copy the text instead of moving it.
Double-click a label to add new text or edit existing text, or select the label and press F2.
You can change the type size, font, or color of a label by clicking the label to select it and then clicking icons on the Format toolbar.
You can also change label attributes by right-clicking the label and choosing Properties. Use the Label Properties dialog box to set whether the label displays only in the main map, only in the OverAll map, or in both maps.
You can select multiple labels and apply the same formatting changes to them at once. Click the first label to select it, and then press and hold Ctrl and click other labels to add them to the selection. Then use the icons on the Format toolbar to make the changes.
If you make a mistake while editing the text of a label, press Esc to cancel the change. If you have already completed the edit, choose Edit > Undo.
Setting the font of a label cannot be undone.
You can lock shapes and pictures in place on the map so that you do not inadvertently move them while moving pages, labels, sequences, or tour sequences. Right-click in the map and choose Lock Background to lock map elements.
You cannot move map elements (such as pages, labels, and shapes) beyond the borders of the map. Be aware, however, that the borders of the map are much larger than the borders of the CuteSITE Builder window and you can drag a page or other element to scroll the map. Use the OverAll Map to locate a map element that is out of sight, or scroll the map to bring the element into view. As an alternative to scrolling, you can choose Map > Main > 200% or Map > Main > 100% to change the level of detail in the map.
