Assigning a Certificate

After you create or obtain a certificate, you assign the certificate to one or more Sites.

To assign a certificate you have created or obtained to a Site

  1. In EFT Administrator, connect to EFT Server and click the Server tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the Site you want to configure.

  3. In the right pane, click the Connection Options tab.

  4. Select the Allow explicit FTPS/SSL connection check box or the Allow implicit FTPS/SSL connection check box or both.

  5. Specify the certificate file by clicking the folder icon  next to the Certificate file path.

  6. Specify the private key by clicking the open icon  next to the Private Key file path.

  7. Type the Private Key Passphrase. The passphrase must match the passphrase that was used when creating the certificate.

  8. Click Apply to save the changes on EFT Server.
