Changing a Site's IP Address or Port

A Site's IP address and port are specified when the Site is created. You can change the IP address and ports using the procedure below.

If you have defined multiple Sites, each with a different IP address, you can use the same ports for the enabled protocols; however, if you have multiple Sites with the same IP address, you must specify different port numbers. If you have any Site defined with "All Incoming" for the IP address, you must define different port numbers for each Site's connection protocols.

For example, suppose "WTC Site" is defined on 10.1.1.13 and "AS2 Partners" is defined on 10.1.1.14. Each Site can be configured to use port 4431 for HTTPS. However, if "AS2 Partners" is defined to listen on "All Incoming" IP addresses, the Sites must be configured to use different ports for HTTPS.
