General Configuration

The Mail Express Server hostname and system email address are defined during initial configuration. The General Configuration page is used to change these settings, and to configure other basic connection information, such as IP port binding, registration, and the SSL certificate. (Refer to the links below for details of these settings.)

To edit general configuration

  1. Launch the Mail Express Server administration interface. (e.g., click Start > Programs > Globalscape > Mail Express > Mail Express Admin or double-click the desktop shortcut).

  2. Log in using the Mail Express Server administrator username and password that you specified during installation of the server.

  3. In the navigation pane, click Configuration > General. The General Configuration page appears.
